The comes a time in the development of a property investment business, that an online presence is a necessity of growth. This means a looking at getting a property website sorted, and this is where the problems start.

I can't tell you how many times I've been asked to do a property website from someone who is quite established as property investor, only to find they have had a number of attempts at getting their online presence sorted, and each had run into issues.

What Is A Property Website

Here's the problem. Whenever anyone start a business, including a property business. They immediately think of getting a website. The obvious thing to do is look for a website developer who can put your site together. 

But think about this for a second. What is it you want to achieve?

As a property investor, you need to focus on just two things, and that's DEALS and MONEY

1 - You need to FIND the deals - Below market value deals in your chosen area/s
2 - You need to FIND the money - Your money will run out fast and you need fresh sources of investment money, you need investors. This could be to fund projects, profitable property deals where you’d share profits with investors or you may want to source deals for others who are time poor but cash rich.

Your network of property people is going to be quite small so you'll need to start marketing and create online assets that help you broaden your net to find more property and connect with people who are looking to invest. 

Having a website will simply not cut it. You're going to need some sort of site that enables people who want to sell their properties at speed the option to get a fast quote from you.

You'll also want to have a professional site that shows prospect investors who you are, what you do and why they should consider investing with you.

This means that you can not do all this on one site. Imagine someone finding your site who's desperate to sell their house fast and finding information on how much money you could make for investors or how you source property below market value.

It's like oil and water, they simply don't mix. So this means that anyone serious about this business will probable need to points of entry, for these diversely different prospects.

It is 100% dedicated to doing just ONE thing and that's to get the site visitor (who's there for just one things) to give you details, this is their name, email and phone number, and the address of the property they want to sell.

As you can see from the example above, there is no navigation. Remember it's not a website, it's a funnel page.

The Investor Attracter Site

This should be considered you main business site, but just as the Motivated Seller site, you don't want too much information on here. The reason for this site is for prospect investors to connect with you. So there are two calls to action. The first is to download your investor guide or prospectus, so they can find out more about the business and why they should invest with you. The second call to action is to book a call with you to discuss their specific requirements.
